My mission is to help you move with more ease, stability, and confidence by using evidence-informed exercise that supports real life — walking, standing, lifting, and staying independent as you age.

My focus is always on improving function, strength, stability, and day-to-day independence.

After your consultation, the next step is a MoveMetrics Mobile Movement Assessment, conducted one-on-one in your home. This visit lasts approximately 60–75 minutes and focuses on how your body moves in real-life environments.
The Mobile Movement Assessment includes a movement check-in, mobility preparation, observation of strength, balance, coordination, and endurance, and evaluation of everyday movement patterns such as standing, walking, reaching, and transitions.
What this assessment is:
A functional movement evaluation performed by a board-certified exercise physiologist to identify movement limitations, compensations, and areas that may benefit from targeted exercise, mobility work, and supportive movement strategies.
What this assessment is not:
This is not a medical exam, physical therapy evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment. No manual therapy, medical interventions, or hands-on rehabilitation techniques are performed. Findings may be shared with your healthcare or rehabilitation team if you choose.

When you reach out to MoveMetrics, the goal is to understand your movement needs clearly and determine the safest, most effective next step.
Most clients contact us by:
• Scheduling a free 8–12 minute phone consultation
• Submitting a website inquiry
• Calling the business phone line
Because sessions are often in progress, live calls may go unanswered. If this happens, you’re encouraged to leave a voicemail or schedule a phone consultation through the website.
All inquiries are directed into a scheduled phone consultation whenever possible. This allows for focused, uninterrupted conversation and ensures your concerns are addressed thoroughly.
After your phone consultation, you’ll receive:
• A brief written summary of what we discussed
• Professional recommendations based on your needs
• A link to schedule your in-home or studio assessment, if appropriate
There’s no pressure to move forward. The goal is clarity — for you and for us.

Your first session with MoveMetrics is not a workout class. It’s a structured movement assessment designed to understand how your body currently moves and what it needs.
During this session, we may:
• Review your health history, medications, and symptoms
• Check blood pressure, when appropriate
• Observe posture, balance, and basic movement patterns
• Assess your home environment for safety and setup
• Introduce light, guided movement based on your comfort level
This session is paced, intentional, and individualized. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is forced.
After the assessment, you’ll have a clearer understanding of:
• How your body is moving right now
• What’s contributing to pain, stiffness, or instability
• What type of movement support makes sense going forward
From there, we’ll discuss appropriate next steps and options for continued care.

MoveMetrics is designed for individuals who want thoughtful, structured movement support — not quick fixes or one-size-fits-all programs.
This service may be a good fit if you:
• Have pain, stiffness, balance issues, or movement limitations
• Are managing orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, or metabolic conditions
• Want in-home support instead of a gym environment
• Prefer a clinical, education-based approach to movement
• Value safety, progression, and long-term function
MoveMetrics may not be the right fit if you’re looking for:
• High-intensity group workouts
• Appearance-driven training
• Generic exercise plans without assessment
If we determine during your consultation that another provider would better meet your needs, we’ll tell you honestly. Appropriate care always comes first.
